Starting Equipment

What is a adventurer without his equipment? Well, he is probably dead. Wheather you rely on your trusty sword or your favored revolver (which you keep closer then a lover and cherish more then a wife), survival means you have gear that will keep you kicking and help you survive on the road or in the city.

WEAPONS, COMMODITIES & LIFESTYLE page has a extensive (though not exhaustive) list of items you might find helpful. Its very likely you will begin with a very simple array of gear. Generally speaking, your hero or heroine begins with a basic setup of equipment along with your starting starting wealth. If you want additional gear or weapons, you may dip into your starting wealth and cover the costs of this new item.

Starting Wealth

Each class, and sometimes assets, will give you your starting wealth.

Upper class: Starting Wealth Points 20x Wits. You begin each adventurer with half this in pocket, in addition to Asset income.
Middle class: Starting Wealth Points 10x Wits. You begin each adventurer with half this in pocket, in addition to Asset income.
Lower class: Starting Wealth Points 2x Wits. You begin each adventurer with half this in pocket, in addition to Asset income.

Asset Income

Lower Class Income 2, 5, or 10 build points = 1, 3, or 6 wealth points
Middle Class Income 2, 5, or 10 build points = 12, 16, or 20 wealth points
Upper Class Income 2, 5, or 10 build points = 21, 26, or 30 wealth point
Independant Income 5 = 10 wealth points
Scrapyard Income = number of wealth points equal to your Wits or Resolve.
Shop Income = number of wealth points x2 + Wits or Presence.

Your Gear

It would be tempting to just start the adventure with any little item you want. But hold your horses, you dual pistol wielding paragon of justice with a motorcar. Your wealth is as much about how many gold peices you have squirreled away as much as how you display your wealth, and power, for everyone to see. Class is about status and prestige and how you wear it on your wrist and on and about your person. Below is a guide to help you pick out a few things to have at hand, based on your class. This equipment is irrigardless of any talents, priviledges or assets which grant you additional equipment.

To make this simple, the value of said weapon or gear must be equal or lower then your total starting wealth. You can use the starting equipment below or shop around on your own.
